Key Dates for pupils transferring to Year 8 in 2026

Date	Activity
Wednesday 10th December 2025	Admissions criteria for Post Primary Schools published on the EA website.
12 noon Tuesday 27 January 2026	EA Connect opens for online applications for Post Primary.
12 noon Thursday 19 February 2026	EA Connect closes for online applications for Post Primary.
Saturday 9 May 2026	Parents/Carers will receive application outcome via email (where one is held) or by letter.
